It’s a celebration of Disney that only comes to Chicagoland once a year, so this is your chance to experience the magic for yourself. Ideal for families with young kids, this spectacle of favorite Disney songs and characters is pure delight. The theme for this year’s show is “Let’s Dance” and it’s a show where everyone gets moving.

The figure skating, the costumes and the high-tech production with special effects are over-the-top. You’ll see beloved characters like Elsa, Mickey, Moana, and Simba gliding across the ice, accompanied by lively music and engaging routines to captivate children and adults alike.

The ice skating is gorgeous with smooth performances, thrilling acrobatics and comedic antics. The colorful sets make you feel like you’re inside a real Disney movie. Kids will love singing along to their favorite Disney tunes like “Circle of Life,” and “Hakuna Matata.”

My favorites were Moana, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. For the young ones, the experience is mesmerizing with the glittering ice, the bright lights, and of course, Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck and Goofy on full display. For adults, it’s a charming, feel-good show that’s very much a nostalgia trip through beloved Disney  films.
